Well, Garrett ACE 250 was launched after ACE 150. It is much more advanced as compared to ACE 150 and offers a lot of features. It weighs the same as ACE 150 i.e. 2.7 lbs. Its operating frequency is similar to ACE 150 as well i.e. 6.5 kHz.

It doesn’t have the numeric target ID rather than offers a graphic target ID with 12 segments to give the hunter a clue about the type of metal buried deep in the earth. It has accepted/rejects discrimination control as well.

Well, before Garrett ACE 250 was launched, Garrett ACE 150 was being used by many hunters. This is actually a budget-friendly gadget that is made reliable, durable, and versatile. It’s ideal for novice and hobbyists as it’s an excellent entry-level detector.

It has a weight of about 2.7 lbs. and has an adjustable length of about 42 inches to 51 inches hence it can be operated by individuals of varying ages.4 AA batteries are essential for its functioning.
